Lessons at 3Bay Sporthorses

Training is available at 3Bay for all levels of experience.

Our lesson horses were specifically chosen for their good temperaments. For the more experienced rider we have several more advanced horses, or boarding and training are available for those with their own horse.

Once you have started lessons at 3Bay, you might like a little more practice time to perfect your skills. We have several horses available for full lease, ½ lease and even ¼ lease.

½ hour lessons are suggested for riders 6 and under

For safety reasons riders must wear a closed-toed shoe with ½ inch definable heel and jeans or riding pants. Helmets can be provided until the rider purchases their own.

Especially for beginners:
For the rider just starting out, safety is our number one goal, and everyone first learns how to be safe around the horses. Furthermore, all students learn horsemanship which includes how horses think, how to care for them properly, and how and why we use the equipment we use. This is tailored to each appropriate age and experience level.

Every rider will care for and tack/untack their lesson horse. Once you are familiar with this process, it is highly recommended that you arrive 30 minutes prior to your lesson time to get your horse ready for your lesson.
